Before we continue with this guide, it is important you first add your website to Yandex Webmaster. After which, you create an OAuth app.
Creating Your Yandex OAuth Application
To create an OAuth application, needed to connect CrawlWP to Yandex Search, log in to your Yandex account, and go to https://oauth.yandex.com/client/new.
Enter a name as the Service name, optionally upload an icon for the app, and select “Web services” as Platforms.
Add the URL below as your redirect URI. Replace “yourwebsite.tld” with your WordPress site domain name.

Save your changes to complete the app registration.
On the created app details page, copy the ClientID and Client secret and save them somewhere, as we need them later.
Integrating CrawlWP with Yandex in WordPress
Follow the steps below to integrate the OAuth app we created to CrawlWP so your WordPress website can connect to the Yandex search engine.
Login to your WordPress admin dashboard and go to CrawlWP >> Settings >> API Settings >> Yandex API.
Enter the Client ID and Client secret of the OAuth app you created and save.
Click on the “Get Token”.
You will be redirected to Yandex to authorize the app so CrawlWP can connect to Yandex.
You will again be redirected back to the CrawlWP settings page in WordPress, and the connection will now be successful.
After successfully integrating WordPress with Yandex using CrawlWP, your website can now perform actions such as (automatically) submitting your WordPress posts, pages, and other content for indexing to Yandex.
